I am so helpful! I was asked to entertain Annabel and get her a few toys so mom and dad could get ready to take us to watch the Super Bowl at my friend’s house.
I got her some toys, and offered myself up as a toy as well:
Annabel makes a new funny face (and we’re so proud that she has enough hair for a clip now!):
I switched out of my LSU jersey so I could wear a BLACK one to root for the Saints.
My buddy Will and I spent the day at Safeco Field – everyone’s getting excited for the season to start on April 12th. They told us they needed help making sure all the equipment was in working order, we were just the right guys for the job.
We fielded questions and debated strategies.
We tested the microphones to make sure they could handle cheering:
We tested the turf and the bases to make sure they were up to snuff for the players. Will and I can run pretty fast.
I slid into 3rd base, but was tagged OUT.
We even warmed the bench for a bit.
GOOOOO Mariners!
Audrey is my parents’ goddaughter (does that make her my godsister?) and she just turned 2 years old! On her birthday, we all went out for sushi and cupcakes!
Will, Audrey, Ben, Annabel – what a foursome!
And then we went to her birthday party at her house.
What a good friend: sharing her baby with baby “Ah-bell”
More cupcakes.
Annabel and I are so lucky to have such good friends like these!
We love you, Audrey! Happy Birthday!
Annabel and her friends had their first official playdate today.
Left to right: Elena, Sofia, Annabel, Margot
The conversation was pretty exciting (from what I was told, no big kids allowed!)

“Mom!!!!! OH NO OH No ohhhh nooo!”
“WHAT’S WRONG?!”
“Look!!!!!!! OH NO! HELP ANNABEL!”
“hahahahahahaha.”
“MOM, do NOT get the camera, HELP her! Moose got her! PUT THE CAMERA DOWN” (Shrieking and jumping.)
Don’t worry, we got the drool cleaned off her and I was much happier.
Annabel is 8 months old. She now has her 2 bottom teeth, LOVES to eat, sits up well, grabs all my toys, giggles at me and is having lots of fun being my little sister. Luckily for me, she’s not crawling yet.

Here’s a video of Annabel’s first time on the swings – it’s not the best quality (from Dad’s phone) but believe me – she loved it!
Another video of me. Here is Frosty the Snowman (in Spanish) and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

My first semester of school has come to a close and I’m doing great! I’ve finally embraced learning all my letters in both English and Spanish, follow directions/rules and play well with others.
Here is our class photo:
Here is my school photo:
At our preschool Christmas party, I was a menace. That pinata didn’t have a chance.
We saw Santa and I told him how I made these reindeer antlers at school just in time to see him! He loved them of course. Annabel was fascinated by his beard and kept tickling him.
For Christmas I requested an R2D2 and said Santa could just make something up for Annabel. I trust his judgement.
To kick of the Christmas season, here is a little tribute to my favorite Christmas carol – you should also know that this song began my obsession with breakdancing. It’s now December, and we’re bringing it back again to showcase some of my new moves.
The song is “Christmas in Hollis” by Run DMC.
We had an excellent Thanksgiving – a week at Grandma and Jidi’s in the sunshine of Palm Desert – and we needed it!
Lots of family joined us, and most of all I had fun wih my cousins Anthony and Katy and Gabe (an honorary cousin).
Life in the desert, is pretty nice.
We swim:
We work out:
We golf:
And Wii golf:
My poor mom tries to get a decent photo:
Finally!
And we give thanks for our family:
Annabel turned 6 months old on Saturday – she’s 26.5 inches long and 13lbs 13 ounces! We started her on real food today – I’m so proud of her, she loves Avocado just like me!
More came out then went in, but pretty good for a first try.
She didn’t really get what was happening, but had fun trying!

Annabel had fun after her bath, playing with the baby in the mirror.
