One of my important jobs as a big brother is to help sing lullabies to my new baby sister. My Aunt Shauna and Uncle Mark and my cousins sent me a new instrument to help! Check out my video – seems to be working for baby!

Life with baby
I’m a little surprised to find out that life with baby isn’t as exciting as I’d hoped it would be. I’m having a lot of fun though and am very proud to have her in the house.
Here is proof that she is pretty boring:
I’m sharing all the stuff I used as a baby with her – like this fun floor mat:

I’m a great big brother – she’s so lucky.
Happy Birthday, Mom!
Today was mom’s birthday – Grandma and Jidi were here after bringing me home. We had a great weekend in Semiahmoo – thanks for all the fun!
Jidi (Fred) insisted on making mom’s birthday cake. It should have been a boston creme pie. Here were the results. It wasn’t pretty, but it tasted just fine.

Meeting my babysister
I am doing great and am so proud of being a big brother. I remind everyone to wash their hands and I just can’t wait until we can get Annabel out of the hospital and back to our house. I told her all about my house and how she has to come home to meet Moose. I’m learning all about baby poop and how to support a newborn’s head!
I got to hold her:
