Last days in Denmark

Dear Big brother,
I’m finally coming home tomorrow! I miss you and Daddy so much! Yesterday we went to Ribe (Ree-bah) which is the oldest city in all of Scandanavia. We saw buildings over 500 years old and even this church from 900 years ago.
today we went to Lego to see where Amy works and to get your presents at the big Lego store. Around town there were some giant Lego bricks. Billund, Denmark is a really cool place! I’m so proud of Aunt Mamie.
Love, Annabel

Ps. when I get home I’ll show you all the pictures these have just been the ones I took on Mamie’s iPhone so I could post them.

Dancing in Berlin

Ben,

How are you? I know you are starting camp today and I hope some of your school friends will be there. I’ll be home on Wednesday so you can tell me all about it then. I was so happy to hear your voice on the phone yesterday – maybe we can skype this afternoon. I went swimming yesterday and saw some boys about the same age as you and I kept watching them – I really miss you.

We saw these people dancing in Berlin when we were walking around. They put their hats out on the ground hoping people would put money in them.

You  would have enjoyed seeing it – so I videotaped this for you:

You can see me in this one:

Hamburg

Ben,
Walking tour of Hamburg Germay. Apparently trips to Europe mean lots and lots of walking. I prefer the beach.
Love,
your sister

Germany

Dear Ben,
We’ve now arrived in Germany, the country between Denmark and France -dad will have to show you on the map.
We’re in a city called Hamburg and German people are so nice and friendly! I broke some glasses at dinner and they all just laughed!
I also saw a lot of goose poop today and I thought you would think that is funny. Mom got you a cool pair of Star Wars underwear and other surprises too.
Love, Annabel
