Preschool Celebration

School is almost out for summer. To celebrate the amazing year we had, the school had a big beach party. Our class sang “Barco de Colores” and the whole school sang “La Bamba”.
I’ll miss my amazing friends and can’t wait for next year!

Many of my friends have little sisters too, so Annabel got to play with her friends!

My best girls: Nina, Casey, Audrey and Alina. It’s gonna be a long summer with out them!

Annabel’s Birthday Dinner

We had a dinner party for Annabel’s birthday – spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread and icecream cake – what more could a girl ask for?

I made Annabel a special card. She had a lot of help opening her presents.

Haute couture for both Audrey and Annabel: my sister’s dress was hand-made by our friend Kay, Audrey’s by her Grandma. It’s hard to look this good.

We’re best friends!

Happy 1st Birthday

Annabel 1 year check-up

Annabel turns 1 tomorrow – and we took her to the doctor today!

She’s 19lbs 10 ounces and in the 25% for weight. (I was 22lbs 5 oz at this age)

She’s 29.75 inches tall in the 75% for height. (I was 33inches)

She has 4 teeth! (Her bottom two came in on Christmas weekend and her top two just came in the first week of April.

Baby bootcamp

It’s long overdue – while Annabel has perfected her scooting around the house – she has yet to learn to roll over and sit up without help. This past weekend, Mom enlisted her in her own version of bootcamp to finally get her moving – and Annabel loves it! Here is the success:

My 1st Dance Recital

Today was my first ever dance recital – a wonderful 2 hour affair where all the wonderful classes from my dance studio perform. I got to mingle with the adult and kid dancers backstage. I’m pretty proud of me and my friends. (Troy just turned 4 like me and Raffi is 3).

Dance Party

Everyone was tremendously happy with the fantastic dance party that I hosted! I told everyone all day that I wasn’t actually 4 until I blew out my candles and everyone sang to me.

Big day

My birthday itinerary:

Wake up and open a couple presents
Climb in Annabel’s crib and read my new book to her
Pancake breakfast – I ate 5
Take the cupcakes I made to school to share with my friends
Sushi date for lunch with my girl Nina
Pick up the balloons for my party
Find more presents in the house to open
Last minute grocery shopping
Rest to get ready to party
DANCE PARTY
Open the rest of my presents!

Like a lowland gorilla

Annabel is now 10 months old and starting to move! Mom calls this crawling, but Dad says she looks more like a Gorilla.

You will notice at the end of the video – how excited she gets when I get home. I make everyone’s day.

If you are wondering why I’m biking in the living room, you should know that my mother has lost her mind due to basement renovation.

Valentine’s Grooming Salon

Dad and I had a boys’ trip to his barber – Valentine.
I got the royal treatment ($17) and we were there for over an hour and a half! From now on, I’ll be seeing Emily for my local hair cutting needs.
