Tuesday was the first day of “real” school – the first day of the next 20 or so years of my academic career.
It was big moment for me – and for my parents who have spent the last year searching for the best place for my brain to grow.
I wasn’t nervous, in fact, I was quite proud to get myself dressed in my new uniform, use my new back pack and my boombox shaped lunch box. I made fast friends and had no problem easing in to a new routine.
I can’t wait to go back again tomorrow!

Annabel could not be outdone. She doesn’t start at her preschool (my old one) until Thursday, but she wanted to get dressed up and wear her backpack just like me.

Once she realized she wasn’t going, she wished me good luck with a big hug:

Mom and Dad both took me to school – Dad was acting kinda silly.

My very first circle time at my new school – sitting between my new pals Connor and Mateo.
