Tulip time again
Each year we attend the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and it is never disappointing!
If you love tulips, or pictures of me and my sister, click here for all 50 photos. Otherwise, here are a few of the best!

(this is a picture of the tulips being ‘pulled’ after they’ve reached full bloom – workers pass through the rows and rip the heads off and toss them in the dirt!)

Do we do this every year? Does my mom ever tire of taking pictures of tulips?

Hoppy Easter!
Annabel’s 1st Easter was a lot of fun! Grandma and Jidi were in town and our cousins and friends came over for an Easter Egg hunt.
Here are some of the highlights – if you want the whole lot of pictures, click through to see the whole album:

It’s hard to get a good picture of me and my sister. Here she is in her Easter dress – made by our friend, Kay Evans. She ended up matching Audrey in their yellow dresses and white sweaters. CUTE.

Here are our cousins – Max, Klara and Leo (they are our 3rd cousins – for those of you Atchitys who want to know the connection: these are Kristen Atchity Fristch’s kids, and she is the daughter of Mike Atchity – my Jidi’s 1st cousin.) We lucked out that they happen to live in Seattle!

We had so much fun hunting for the eggs Max hid in the front yard – we hid them all over our house. Mom and Dad are finding eggs in some pretty tricky spots. There are still a few suspected missing eggs. Eventually, they’ll start to smell and then we can find them.
Like a lowland gorilla
Annabel is now 10 months old and starting to move! Mom calls this crawling, but Dad says she looks more like a Gorilla.
You will notice at the end of the video – how excited she gets when I get home. I make everyone’s day.
If you are wondering why I’m biking in the living room, you should know that my mother has lost her mind due to basement renovation.
So much for clean jammies
Annabel is 9 months old now (16lbs and 27.5 inches) and starting to move around on her own. She wiggles, throws things, lunges, and can do a kinda backwards crawl thing.
She was playing before bed and I think she’d had too much dinner. I like to watch the end of this video again and again and again.
Vancouver 2010
We went this weekend to Vancouver to check out the excitement of having the Olympics in town. We didn’t see any events, just enjoyed walking around a great city in the midst of the fanfare. I won a couple medals of my own and Annabel and I entertained the masses with our usual antics. Our friends Megan and Zubin joined us and Viviana came too!
It was pretty packed – long lines everywhere.
