LSU vs. UW
It’s hard to believe that it took me over three years to attend my first college football game – but boy was it worth waiting for. Grandma and Jidi took us to see their alma mater, Louisiana State University Tigers, play here in Seattle against the University of Washington Huskies. (It was also Annabel’s first college football game.)
The morning of the game:

Dressed, napped and ready to go:

Annabel’s first ballgame.
We took Annabel to her first Mariner’s game – we had awesome seats, just 18 rows behind Home Plate!

Our seats were so great, we sat just two rows behind Ichiro.

As you can see, Annie loved the game. Three weeks old and already a huge fan.

Here is a clip of me dancing, the crowd behind me loved me, of course. A nice woman got up and danced with me, so I asked for her number. Unfortunately, we didn’t get it on tape.
Harlem Globetrotters
Friday night we saw the Globetrotters and had a great time!
My abuelo and abuela came and so did my friends.
Me, Griffin and William with our new sweatbands on watching the game:

Frisbee
I’ve now decided Frisbee is my favorite sport. I have awesome aim and after a few good throws, I yell, “I’m on fire!”
Golf
Leisure is important in everyone’s busy life. Here in Seattle, I take that seriously. The best part about summer: sports! We have a couple nice weather days and I was out and about.
A few keys to a good golf game:
1. Practice, practice, practice.
2. Relax and swing away!
3. Have your golf buddies over for a lobster-bake afterwards.
Take me out to the ball game…
My first baseball game (what took so long?)
Mariner’s Stadium with its retractable roof. Click here for more info on its features. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safeco_Field#Retractable_roof
We had record weather for April – it was about 77 degrees and sunny – the perfect weather for the game. Needless to say, the roof was open and we were all in short sleeves.
It was a special evening at the Safeco Field – “Soul Patch Night” in honor or JJ Putz.
See the resemblance??
My best buddy Will (and his parents) joined us. We were speechless at the start of the game.
Ichiro is always fun to watch and we had great seats!
The stadium had a surprise for me:
And I sang “Take me out to the ball game” after practising for a week.
The Keigers and Megan & Zubin came too!
The Mariners beat the Angels – 8 to 3. The perfect end to an awesome birthday week.
